We at Music Therapy Ireland offer a creative space to help the lives of people who are healthy and those with disabilities.

Our mission is to use music as a medium to promote and encourage further development and growth in a space that is creative, safe and non-judgmental.


MEET THE MUSIC THERAPY IRELAND TEAM…

Eli Chourdaki

Eli is a graduate of the Masters programme of Music Therapy from the University of Limerick. Her work in the music therapy field includes children and adolescents with profound mental and physical disabilities, palliative care, as well as care of the elderly. Eli also holds a BA in Philosophy & Literature.


John Garvey

John has completed the MA programme of Music Therapy at the University of Limerick. His work in the music therapy field includes children with special needs, emotional, social and learning difficulties, as well as adults in a rehabilitation setting who have had a stroke or other form of brain injury. John also holds a BA in Theology & Psychology.

Jessica Harris

Before completing a two year masters in music therapy at the University of Limerick, Jessica completed a BA in Music Performance and an MMus at the Royal College of Music in London. She currently specialized in working with people of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and with adults with acquired brain injury.

Jack O’Leary

Jack is a graduate of the Masters programme of Music Therapy from the University of Limerick. He has worked in the fields of special needs (in particular autism), trauma, abuse, neurological impairment and mental health. Jack also holds a Higher Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy and a BA in Pastoral Theology.
